You will sign a 3 year licence agreement, however our priority is to make sure people live safely and happily.  Licenses can be extended and there are opportunities to live longer term although these are limited in numbers.  Duration can be reviewed and extended beyond three years where appropriate.

Yes you can , when you have been accepted to move in you are taken through paperwork for signing which will include you needing to take full responsibility for your children for visits and overnight stays .

All our houses are mixed. We will always do our utmost to place all licensees where they will be happy.

On admission we would take a baseline test where this will be recorded. Testing will occur if suspicion arises, or can be random. Again there will be documentation for you to sign in your welcome pack before moving in and we will always consider the safety of all housemates.

We are abstinent-based supported housing and do not work with relapse. We have to take into consideration the other housemates that need to remain safe . We will help in any way within our capacity to see if there is any place or spaces for move but it must be stressed this is not guaranteed and generally the licensee returns back to where they originally come from.

Yes. On move-in day you will be handed a front door key and a key for your personal bedroom. All communal areas are shared.

There are weekly check-ins carried out in all properties and a monthly house meeting with a member of staff.  Also you will be provided with contact numbers for our main office and a mobile number which is direct-to-staff for maintenance, to make appointments or to attend our aftercare.  You will also be provided with a pack of  'What’s going on in the city’ to get involved with courses and resources in the surrounding area for health and wellbeing.

We encourage all individuals to save whilst residing in ANAWORKS, through our rent deposit scheme.  Unfortunately,  there are no set pathways , it is down to the individual to take responsibility and empower themselves to save money as best they can.
